Notes: Tonight’s game was killer: big crowd, nice weather, and the M’s knocked off the best team in baseball, remaining a half-game out of first place… Receiving warm welcomes on their return to Seattle were Phillies Raul Ibanez (in left) and Jamie Moyer (in the stands)… Rookie Michael Pineda no-hit the Phillies through 5-2/3 innings; fellow rookie Dustin Ackley singled in his first-ever major league at-bat… Brandon League picked up his league-leading 20th save… And this blog’s subject went 3-for-4 (including a double) and scored three runs; he’s now 13-for-25 in the six games since being benched last Friday… Here are a few of my photos from tonight’s game…

Next: Game 71 vs. Philadelphia, 7:10 Saturday.
